International Nurses Day is observed annually on 12 May. To mark the occasion, the Department of Nursing at CITI University’s School of Beauty is organising a Physical Health Assessment and Testing event.
During the event, nursing students are providing health examinations, tests, advice and information to university faculty, staff and students. Services include:
- Capillary blood glucose testing
- Peripheral oxygen saturation and pulse-rate measurement
- Arterial blood pressure measurement
- Body mass index calculation
- Hepatitis B and C screening.
President Professor Ts. Baigalmaa, Ph.D., extended International Nurses Day greetings to students training in nursing, a profession in demand worldwide, and to Department of Nursing faculty, wishing them success in their work for public health. She also thanked them for providing nursing services, relevant tests, advice and information during a busy period of teaching and study.
