During the COVID-19 pandemic and worldwide restrictions, CITI University has continued its activities, and students are travelling to Japan for paid internships.
Under the university’s one-year paid internship programme, fourth-year Business Administration students A. Tsogmandakh and Kh. Sarantuya, third-year Business Administration student D. Temuujin, third-year Tourism student L. Undes and second-year Foreign Languages and Educational Studies student B. Gankhuu arrived in Japan on 5 December 2020 to develop their knowledge and skills.
Before departure, these students undertook one year of Japanese-language training in Mongolia, reaching N5 and N4 levels, and received hospitality training.
Over the past three years, more than 50 CITI students have completed the one-year paid internship programme in Japan, earning income, improving language proficiency in context and gaining practice-based education before graduating with international certificates.
Through agreements with foreign universities, CITI University regularly provides professional development, paid international internships and research opportunities for students, faculty and staff.
