All CITI University faculty and students will use licensed Microsoft Office 365 and introduce its cloud-based services into daily work.
The suite includes more than 20 applications, covering office productivity, email, messaging, online meetings and an internal organisational social network.
It will improve the speed of communication, collaboration and decision-making, while Microsoft’s cloud solutions provide information security and protection.
Under their licences, faculty and students can use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other applications simultaneously on up to five devices, including computers, phones and tablets.
The service improves productivity and enables work and study from any location and device, while storing data reliably without requiring the university to operate high-capacity servers.
An initial 50 users are ready to begin, and all faculty and students will be connected during February.
The university’s Network and Information Centre will provide detailed guidance shortly.
