Jiří Brodský, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Mongolia, visited CITI University on 11 March 2021.
President Dr, Professor Ts. Baigalmaa introduced the university’s international relations and development policy. The ambassador welcomed her invitation to meet students and give a lecture. The meeting also explored links with Czech businesses through the Czech–Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and opportunities for cooperation with Czech universities.
Ambassador Brodský expressed the embassy’s willingness to support projects introducing Czech equipment and technologies in Mongolia. He then toured the university’s facilities and buildings and wished the community success, observing that its resources and learning environment were developing to a level comparable with respected international universities.
CITI University, the Czech Embassy and the Mongolian–Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry previously organised the drawing competition ‘Who Knows the Czech Republic Best?’. CITI students also promoted their university at the Building Mongolia exhibition.
