The coronavirus pandemic is a global challenge rather than a problem affecting just one country. India, which was the first to donate 150,000 AstraZeneca doses to Mongolia during the pandemic, now faces a sharp increase in infections, with daily deaths exceeding 2,500. Countries and major organisations have begun offering donations and assistance.
CITI University faculty and staff have joined this effort by donating one day’s salary, totalling MNT 5,126,000.
CITI University cooperates closely with the Indian Embassy. One example is Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary M. P. Singh’s visit to the university and establishment of an India Corner in its library. Faculty members have also attended medium- and short-term training in India.
The CITI University community extends its wishes to the people of India that, through collective effort, we will overcome this dangerous pandemic and welcome better times together. Better days and a brighter future are near.
