CITI University’s School of Business and its Change Makers club organised a notebook-based study visit to the factory of Evseg LLC, a major Mongolian wool and cashmere company producing sewn, woven and knitted goods from Mongolian goat cashmere and camel wool.
More than 20 second- and third-year Business Administration students and sixth-year Journalism students took part.
They observed production processes and stages of wool and cashmere processing, heard from relevant staff about innovation and technology in manufacturing and business operations, and recorded useful information.
The visit aimed to reinforce classroom theory through learning about international sales, brand development, investment and equipment renewal. It was productive: students received answers to their questions and observed the stages through which products reach consumers.
