The Mongolian International Arbitration Centre provided training for CITI University School of Law students on arbitration institutions’ activities and advantages, and the legal frameworks for arbitration internationally and in Mongolia.

Secretary General M. Shinebayar and Secretary N. Batdorj led the training, discussing arbitral jurisdiction, comparisons between court and arbitration proceedings in loan disputes, and procedural features and advantages.

Students asked questions about arbitration as a form of out-of-court dispute resolution, its principles and its advantages compared with courts, and received answers from professional staff.

Secretary General M. Shinebayar welcomed the CITI University law students’ cooperation with the arbitration institution and participation in training, and noted the need for other law students and professionals to improve their understanding of arbitration.

CITI University and the Mongolian International Arbitration Centre signed a memorandum of cooperation on 8 November 2021. It opened opportunities for students to attend training and seminars, undertake placements, and study research, the importance of arbitration and the distinctive features of its operations.
