Floraison Fashion 2022, a show presenting this year’s formal dress designs, was held at the Corporate Centre yesterday, 29 November 2021.
Jointly organised by the Department of Fashion Design at CITI University’s School of Construction, Architecture and Design and Princess Mongolian Fashion salon, the show featured more than 200 works by 74 designers.
More than 50 designs by the school’s Fashion Design students, representing over 20 years of institutional history, enriched the show and attracted audience interest.

This year’s designs emphasised lace, velvet, leather and draping fabrics, with pink, black, white and beige among the prominent colours. Styles associated with the 1980s and 1990s returned, retaining their forms while introducing variations in materials and colour.

Women attending Floraison Fashion 2022 praised the students’ work, highlighting elaborate handcraft, attention to detail, the time invested and the high level of skill required. Fashion Design students worked in four teams, each presenting designs with distinctive characteristics, which attracted considerable attention.

School of Beauty students provided make-up and hairstyling for models presenting the designers’ work. School of Arts students welcomed audiences with artistic performances, while School of Business students successfully managed reception and event organisation.

“Floraison Fashion 2022We congratulate CITI University’s faculty and students on their successful participation in the formal dress show and wish them continued success.
