The OMC Hairworld World Championships, a 78-year-old event described as the Olympics of hairdressing and beauty, took place in Paris, France, on 12–14 October 2024. More than 2,000 professionals from over 50 countries participated.
School of Beauty Sciences lecturers L. Maralmaa and E. Uyanga were members of Mongolia’s national team.
Results:
Lecturer L. Maralmaa, makeup artist:
- Creative makeup: third place, bronze medal
- Stage makeup: fourth place
Lecturer E. Uyanga, hairdresser and stylist:
- Ladies’ long-hair bridal styling: special award
During the event, E. Uyanga also received her first-place trophy in Ladies Creative Color from the Continent Cup competition covering Asia, the Americas and Europe.
