Dr Ch. Enkhbold, a lecturer at CITI University’s School of Business, explained that contemporary teaching requires technological knowledge, the ability to develop content appropriate to learners’ needs, and strong communication and creative skills. Teachers increasingly serve as facilitators and guides to student development, beyond their traditional role as transmitters of knowledge.
He emphasised that modern teaching is learner-centred, technology-supported, grounded in practical experience and flexible. These approaches aim to prepare creative, socially responsible citizens who can compete in the future labour market.
He also noted that creativity, innovation and technological advances can make high-quality, affordable education more widely accessible, and that improving education for all is an essential foundation of sustainable development.
