International students in the Master of Education programme at CITI University’s School of Humanities organised Chinese Tea Culture Day, presenting the origins, development, varieties, customs and preparation of Chinese tea.
The event introduced different Chinese teas and explored the history of tea culture.
Participants learned about tea cultivation, different flavours, their significance and traditional methods. Chinese tea was presented as associated not only with flavour but also with respectful social interaction and emotional balance.
The event also provided a detailed introduction to appropriate tea preparation methods.
