The 25th National Championship Festival for Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy and Nail Design 2022 was held in Erdenet, Orkhon Province, on 9 October 2022. Held continuously since 1997, the festival was jointly organised with the Mongolian Association of Hairdressers and Beauticians.
Faculty and students from CITI University’s School of Beauty achieved strong results. The university delegation comprised special-effects make-up lecturer G. Khos-Erdene, hairdressing and styling lecturer E. Uyanga, make-up lecturer L. Maralmaa, ten students from the School of Beauty, and ten models. They received the Grand Prix in the student team category.
CITI University special-effects make-up lecturer G. Khos-Erdene also served as a judge. Organisers noted that this year’s festival had expanded in scale and participation and had become more competitive.
