In September 2025, the Department of Nursing at CITI University’s School of Beauty Sciences undertook the following activities to promote health education and develop students’ professional skills.
Joint Event Marking World Patient Safety Day
The department organised an event marking World Patient Safety Day in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the Mongolian Nurses Association.
Nursing faculty and students participated, exchanged experience with practitioners and broadened their professional knowledge.
Emergency Care Workshop
In cooperation with the international organisation JICA, the department held an Emergency Care workshop, where students developed knowledge and skills for providing timely emergency assistance in practical situations. The training supported the development of professional responsibility and responsiveness among future nurses.
The Value of the Nursing Profession: Outreach Event
On 15 September 2025, the department held an event on the value of the nursing profession for Grade 12 pupils at Secondary School No. 73 in Bayangol District.
The event aimed to explain nurses’ role in society, provide career guidance and encourage future recruitment into nursing.
